1.Reduced pressure drop
The decrease in pressure drop is due to the fact that the maximum opening of the cascaded mini ring is mainly in the direction of steam/liquid flow, which allows for easy passage and significantly reduces pressure drop.

2.Factory capacity increase
The increase in power plant capacity is a direct result of the decrease in cascade mini ring pressure drop, as it will further move the operating point away from the "critical pressure drop point" where floods occur. This is usually 1-2 inches, wc/ft, or 10-20 millibars per inch. This effect allows for additional steam/liquid treatment, thereby improving the factory's capacity

3.Improved resistance to "dirt"
Due to the fact that any solid entering the packing bed is more easily flushed through the packing matrix, the directional positioning of the ring (the maximum opening in the flow direction) enhances its resistance to dirt.

4.Higher operational efficiency
Higher operational efficiency is due to preferential orientation, which ensures vertical rather than horizontal positioning in most ring surfaces, and this is also beneficial for mass transfer. High efficiency depends on effectively wetting as much available surface area as possible. The lower side of any horizontal surface in the packed bed or tower is naturally shielded and not affected by liquid droplets, so it is not completely wetted. This dry surface has almost no effect on mass transfer. Cascaded mini rings significantly reduce this impact, thus providing higher factory operating efficiency.
